Testimonials
We joined to network with like minded families that look like us. I truly believe in a village to raise our girls and believe that each and every one of them have a gift to share with each other. I also believe in the leadership of the program and overly joyous at how it’s a group that’s truly lead by faith.
Pearl Mom Tiffany
I’m here because I want THE best for my daughter and the Empress and Pearls is just that. Growing up, I wish I would have been apart of a group like this, a sisterhood to help guide, mold and help me to navigate this crazy thing called life. My daughter is CORE Pearl because she enjoys the sisterhood of this organization, she’s gaining new, positive friendships (sisters) and skills that I can’t teach her, but most importantly Empress safely guides my Pearl out of her comfort zone. Every girl has a village, but THIS VILLAGE right here can’t be touched.
Pearl Mom Demeshia
We decided to be a core member family of Empress and Pearls because it takes a village to raise kids, the connections and opportunities it provides our daughter, sisterhood, and college preparation. Our daughter looks forward to the cool workshops and building a close relationship with the Sister's she has made. The Empress goes above and beyond with providing the support we were looking for.

Why is my family apart of the core group? It’s simple, we believe in the highest investment in education towards our children’s future. That’s not necessarily money either. We believe that our children deserve undenied access to opportunities beyond the societal norm in the black community. However, I personally don’t know all the avenues to take to achieve each opportunity. It is my opinion that a collaboration with like minded people, who are just as driven to present the same opportunities and more to the youth, will create endless possibilities. We’re here for the strategies, the growth in mindset (for my children, my husband, and myself), the developmental support, and resources during this process. I believe that the founder of TEAP started this organization to share/education on the things that weren’t presented to her sooner but also to allow inside access to diversified educational opportunities, with financial flexibility. The sisterhood is an added bonus.

I’m here because it is important that my daughter is engaged and exposed to experiences to prepare her for life. The experiences must match our family values. We have found this and more with this group, The Empress and Pearls. This is our village, our family.

The CORE group has been a blessing to our lives. It’s helped us navigate a few teenage growing pains and has really helped my baby find her “voice” as a young woman. Empress has helped us navigate a few bumps in the road and has poured into both of us personally and professionally. I don’t even really have words when it comes to Scholarship Sunday and the support with college applications and scholarships….unmatched. We needed the additional support for this part of our journey. It would have gotten done but not nearly at the level it’s happening at right now. It’s also been great to serve with other Pearl mom’s. Our girls aren’t all the same age, but we share the similar goals and dreams for them and the organization.
The CORE is truly an example of strangers turned family.

Core is the direct center of someone or something. Being apart of this core organization has channeled the better version of Ayla. It's not easy raising a young black girl with this new age pressure from social media, middle school and just being a teenager. This Core group keeps her grounded in being true to herself and having a mindset unique to others because of the beautiful opportunities she is exposed to.
Pearl Mom Nikki
I decided to join the Pearl group because I wanted my daughters to have positive and safe place where they can engage and cultivate relationships that will help them with reach their goals.
